this week sees the release of the much-anticipated film version of the hit 90s and 00s TV series which follows the outrageous escapades of fashionistas Edina and Patsy.
Hale joined the Ab Fab team in the early 2000s back when Instagram and Snapchat were but twinkles in their creator's eyes and Kim Kardashian was just your average rebellious LA teen.

In fact, Eddy and Patsy's world has changed quite a bit since we last saw them (in a short series of special episodes for the Olympics in 2012) and there is probably no more potentway to show their new reality than via their wardrobes.
In lots of ways, Patsy and Eddy were predictors of what fashion would become in 2016. "Fashion has got so outrageous that I thought, before Edina was always outrageous and people go 'Oh my God, she looks wild'" explains Hale, "I discussed it with Jennifer and said I thought she needed to be toned down, otherwise it’s not necessarily right for the character now and they’re a lot older- although being age-appropriate would never worry Edina!"
